ToggleOdoo ERP References: Use Cases for Public and Private Sectors
In business since 2009, we have over 100 references spread across Africa, Europe, and the USA. Among all these references, here are a few that concern ODOO:
1. Ministry of Health and Social Action
We have implemented ODOO software for the Senegalese MSAS to facilitate medical referrals and address pathologies. This system, acquired as part of the management of alerts for all types of pathologies, allows them to automate the collection of alerts, the automatic qualification of alerts according to the symptoms reported, the monitoring of indicators, and the generation of PDF reports.
2. State IT Agency (currently SENUM)
We first supported Sénégal Numérique in training their engineers and providing technical support. We then migrated their internal information system to ODOO, which is used on their behalf and for other ministries. We implemented leave management and administrative document software. Thanks to Odoo's flexibility, we were able to manage ADIE's specific requirements related to leave management, namely:
- The number of days of leave;
- The leave validation workflow (multi-level);
- Generation of administrative documents (certificate of cessation of service, certificate of resumption of service, etc.).
3. Business France
Business France is the national agency dedicated to the internationalization of the French economy. It is responsible for the international development of businesses and their exports, as well as prospecting and welcoming international investments in France.
We were selected by Business France to design, implement, and maintain an online platform with ODOO for the TAI project (Talent Africains à l’International). This project aims to:
- promote the employability of young graduates from UEMOA
- develop the internalization of UEMOA companies
- strengthen intra-WAEMU trade
This platform connects 3 actors:
- Young African talents
- African companies using the system
- The TAI device manager
The platform proposed by Baamtu will be the interface between talents, companies and managers. It will be a communication support and information site, it takes into account several features such as:
- Connection management
- Managing registrations and connections
- Ads management
- User profile management
- CV library management
- Management of the platform administration
4. La Délégation générale à l’Entreprenariat Rapide des Femmes et des Jeunes(DER)
The General Delegation for Rapid Entrepreneurship of Women and Youth (DER/FJ) is a structure attached to the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic of Senegal (was created by decree n° 2017-2123 of November 15, 201 and having the following missions:
- the definition and implementation of strategies to promote self-employment among young people and women;
- the mobilization of resources and financing of business creation projects and income-generating activities;
- strengthening the technical and managerial capacities of beneficiaries;
- the supervision and monitoring-evaluation of funded projects and activities.
We have implemented for the DER, a set of personalized modules on ODOO to manage:
- Accounting and budgets
- Human resources and payroll management
- The vehicle fleet
- The purchasing process
- Program management and the PTBA
- Fixed asset management
- Inventory management
The DER has projects, activities, budgets, and funding. In order to track budget consumption by project and activity based on different funding sources, we were chosen to implement integrated management software based on Odoo.
This software allows the DER to define budget items by grouping general accounts, to define budgets and to edit monitoring reports with, of course, the possibility of defining specific monitoring reports.
5. 5. Senegal Digital Technology Park (P.T.N)
The Digital Technology Park (PTN) aims to develop, in the Diamniadio urban center, the first and largest regional platform for promoting innovation and the development of digital services, creating jobs and wealth. The Government of the Republic of Senegal, acting on behalf of the Ministry of Communication, Telecommunications, Posts and the Digital Economy, has entrusted us with the implementation of an integrated management software package for the project unit's businesses.
We assisted PTN in the implementation of a customized integrated management system with ODOO including:
- Fixed asset management
- Inventory management
- Fleet management
- Human Resources Management (Evaluation, Leave, Recruitment and Payroll)
- Project management
- Purchasing management
- Electronic document management
- Internal instant messaging
- Accounting and budget management
6. 6. HIGH AUTHORITY OF WAQF (HAW) SENEGAL
The High Authority of Waqf (HAW) is an independent administrative structure attached to the Prime Minister's Office created by Law No. 2015-11 of May 6, 2015 relating to Waqf. It is certainly not a strictly public administration, but is an institution organized by Decree No. 2016-449 of April 14, 2016 and its main missions are to develop and administer public waqf and to ensure the control and supervision of other types of waqf.
WAQF called on BAAMTU to implement ODOO with the following modules:
- Accounting management (General, Syscoa, Budget, Fixed Assets, Analytical)
- Human Resources Management (Recruitment, Timesheets, Employees, Careers, Skills, Leave, Loans, Payroll)
This software allows WAQF to prepare their tax and social security declarations, spending less time on data entry and more time analyzing reports. The software also allows them to track their budgets in real time.
7. 7. PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL TRAINING CENTER
Founded in 1984, CFPT/SJ is one of the flagship institutions of cooperation between the Republic of Senegal and the Government of Japan. A national and sub-regional reference center, CFPT SJ is one of the leading training institutions specializing in industrial maintenance training.
In order to begin a process of dematerializing its management tools, the CFPT entrusted us with the implementation of an Integrated Management System (MIS) with ODOO:
- School management, Jangal: Management of teachers, students, registrations, exams, grades etc.
- Human resources and payroll management
- Accounting management: general and analytical accounting, budget management, fixed asset management, etc.
- Fleet management
- Business management (purchasing, sales, stock)
- Financial monitoring (cash flow plan, monitoring of payment deadlines, budget control, budget monitoring, etc.).
8. MAIMOUNA CLINIC and L’AMITIÉ CLINIC
The primary goal of healthcare is to provide optimal care and services. This goal is largely achieved through the use of business management processes that impact not only patient and provider satisfaction, but also organizational efficiency. One of the consequences of implementing business process automation is undoubtedly better financial management.
It is within this framework that Baamtu has developed an ERP with ODOO allowing healthcare structures to better manage, measure and optimize their management processes. It covers medical management, commercial management (invoicing, inventory, etc.), accounting management and human resources management.
We have implemented this software in the Maïmouna clinic and the Friendship clinic, allowing them to dematerialize all patient files from start to finish (consultation, appointment management, hospitalization, etc.) by integrating the management of IPMs, insurance and budget allocation.
9. CARAPACES
Carapaces is a highly specialized group of experts that supports legal compliance and optimality requirements in managing all of its clients' legal assistance needs.
We developed a custom ODOO information system for this consulting firm that meets their need to digitize the consulting file processing process. Implementing this software has enabled Carapaces to better track and trace files, simplify file searches, facilitate meeting management, automatically generate documents, etc.
10. Groupe AXE EXPERTS – KOF SN – KAERUS
These are three combined companies specializing in accounting, auditing, consulting, and finance. They are present in Senegal, France, and Togo.
To help them better manage their activities, we developed a mission management information system for this group on ODOO. This system automates the generation of mission letters, invoicing, and financial analysis with dashboards by client file.
11. NGOM and Brothers
NGOM and Brothers is a company specializing in port services. In addition to deploying ODOO as an accounting and business management information system for them, we customized each module to create a system that was more suited to their transit operations:
- Tax management (Freight charges, landing charges, etc.)
- Management of customs families (sh codes and cumulative rate)
- Module for determining the selling price with automatic calculation according to the charges (fixed and variable) and the forecast margin
- Bed base management
- Etc.
12. WAW TELECOM
WAW TELECOM is a broadband internet connection service provider in Senegal. In addition to deploying ODOO as an accounting and business management information system for them, we integrated the telecommunications-specific subscription management module into the accounting module to automate the semi-automatic transfer of invoices to the accounting department. This system has enabled the accounting department to gain productivity in the accounting processing of subscription sales.
13. Senegalese Agency for the Promotion of Exports
We have implemented for ASEPEX, an information system based on Odoo, allowing us to profile Senegalese exporting companies and also to generate certificates of origin. This constitutes an unprecedented wealth of information, which is collected by agents. From this information entered, we generate statistics and graphs that allow us to analyze the situation of Senegalese exports. This system is now used to provide statistics on foreign trade.
